UK Shipping Rates

Order's greater than £50 will generally ship using a "signed for" method for insurance purposes. For bulky items we may (regardless of stated Royal Mail options) use a tracked courier service instead (Evri or DPD currently); in such instances customer shipping rates will be unaffected. 

Note 1: Canada has a low duty threshold which means more parcels get processed by their customs service. This can lead to delays. See our note here and keep an eye on the UK Royal Mail notices here for updates.  

Note 2: Shipping to European Union countries has been (hopefully) temporarily suspended due to a high percentage of shipments across the EU being held up, not delivered or more often refused by customers due to arbitrary and punitive customs fees and unlawful VAT duty charges (see our note here for details).

!!!  2025 UPDATE (IMPORTANT) !!! :  As of September 2025 we've harmonised our international shipping rates across two main zones:  1) Non-EU countries in Europe and, 2) North America plus Other Destinations.  Other Destination now includes Canada which we've separated from North America due to the tariffs imposed by the USA. There is a minimum £3.50 tariff (admin + duty fee) premium on goods going into the USA. At present we're absorbing some (*) or all of the cost and monitoring the situation, but we may need to increase our shipping rates to the USA if this begins to have a material effect.

We predominantly ship tracked internationally, but for certain inexpensive, light and flat items, we offer a non-tracked budget service: "Royal Mail International Standard".  This has proven quite reliable, but we're only happy using it for items that are easy and relatively cheap for us to replace should they go missing.  

International Shipping Rates

For customers outside the UK any import duty and/or sales taxes are the responsibility of the customer. 

The European States (outside the EU) we ship to are: Belarus, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland & Turkey.

The Other Destinations group currently includes:  Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.

* Most orders to the EU take between 5 - 8 working days, however occasionally such orders can take a little longer and we ask customers to wait until after 12 working days before reporting a delivery missing.

** Most orders to European States outside the EU take between 5 - 8 working days, however occasionally such orders can take a little longer and we ask customers to wait until after 15 working days before reporting a delivery missing.

*** Most orders to North America take between 5 - 8 working days and orders to countries in the "Other Destinations" category (outside North America and Europe) should arrive within 10 working days, however occasionally such orders can take a little longer and we ask customers to wait until after 20 working days before reporting a delivery missing.

**** For large bulky items (where the combined length + width + depth is greater than 90cm or where one side is longer than 60cm) we only ship within the UK and to European countries within the EU. The maximum parcel size we ship is 80 x 45 x 30cm.

For international orders that are greater than 2 kg or outside our current shipping limits (>10kg for the EU) where no courier is available at checkout, please contact us and we'll give you a quote.
