Feichao's D-Ring Safety Mount: Safety with a twist

GPN Media selected the Feichao D-Ring to attach to the Dual Cubic Mount component to secure their Scrambler UL Tripod to a backpack via cord-loop and carabiner. Aside from providing a very secure attachment safety mount for the tripod, the D-Ring features a hex bit at the end of its 1/4"-20 screw. This is ideal for tightening up other components on the go (such as Feichao's minimalist cold shoe mount) without having to pack an allen key.

These D-Rings can be used on any equipment that a) has a 1/4" female attachment point, and b) is expensive enough to warrant additional care.
