Woojin's Tent Pole Shoe: Alternative Uses (As Above, So Below)

Woojin's Tent Pole Shoe is designed to work with webbing attachments connected to the base of tents, acting as docking points for straight and preformed pole segments to slot into.  However, these "shoes" can work just as well as "hats" when flipped over and placed on the top of tent poles.  Dyneema cord loops (such as those on Scramble's G-38 and G-55 tarps) can then be threaded through the pole shoe's webbing slot and clipped via carabiners to guy lines. Effectively connecting tarp, pole and guy line.

In essence this is the pro version of Scramble's Tarp Pole Attachment Point for 10.25mm poles.

For those who don't use walking poles (UL backpackers, bike packers etc) and/or take a minimalist approach, the Woojin pole shoe, combined with the DAC Featherlite NSL 9mm poles provides a superb accompaniment to a lightweight tarp + bivvy setup.
