After this version of the Dragonfly, Blue Ice removed the 420D reinforcements that made this pack so reliably tough compared to most small climbing packs. The Dragonfly is designed for minimalist climbers looking to carry just the essentials. With highly breathable shoulder straps and a featherweight of merely 360 grams, you will barely notice you’re carrying it. When you don’t need the pack, fold it into its own pocket and store it away during travel or inside a larger pack on the approach hike. For the most minimalist climbers, the foam back pad, hip belt and sternum strap can all be removed to further decrease bulk and weight. The generous zippered pocket allows you to safely store small items. The versatile daisy chain system can be used to carry a pair of collapsible ski poles or other large gear. The streamlined rope carrying system stabilizes your rope and can be tucked away in the hydration slit. Like all of our backpacks, the Dragonfly features a minimalist design and is built to last.
